This week marks the initiation of Mette's bundling up, head-to-toe, in her one-piece fleece! Up until now, long sleeves, socks and a toque have been good enough, but the weather has changed from 'cool' to 'cold' ... and so one must dress accordingly!
Here we are at a favorite point in our walk, taking in the geese who have yet to head south for the winter!
Wouldn't it be nice if we could all be so cozy - bundled and warm - when we take our naps?!
Happiness [hap-ee-nis] noun pleasure; contentment; joy
Introductions were made this past weekend when Glenn flew up from Washington D.C. to meet his newest niece! Mette, of course, was enthralled with the extra attention and Uncle Glenn's hearty laugh!
Thanksgiving walk in Pine Grove Forest, part of the series of trails maintained by Ottawa's National Capital Comission. The weather was perfect (21C/70F) and the trees were bursting with color.
Mette thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the cat-nap she took along the way!
With the visit of a good friend, we welcomed Autumn this past weekend!
Chilly temps, spicy candles, warm drinks, Jak's Kitchen, a long walk, new "playtime" and ongoing conversation filled the hours ... all of which flew by too quickly! Come again soon, Auntie Erica!
