Christmas Preparations

This past weekend involved going out to find a Christmas tree! How exciting!

We went to a tree farm expecting to cut one down, but were unable to. Maybe next year!

Mette was tuckered! She didn't flinch when we stopped to share a peppermint hot chocolate on the way home.

 Tradition in our family is to celebrate Advent as we prepare for the Christmas season.

A new Christmas play blanket is a wonderful way to start!

Boy vs. Girl

Mom says Dad dressed me in a "boy" outfit.

Dad thinks the orange stripes are pink.

Not compared to the giant bow Mom stuck on my head in a rage of "I'll show you pink!"

Mirror, Mirror

Mette has just been introduced to sitting up in a Bumbo chair. She has also recently become more interested in her own reflection. It's so fun to watch!

She often still prefers her hands to anything else!
